That would mean they originally intended for Google to be the name, not Googol in my eyes, though there is a possibility of making an error as a project at Standard, though that seems very unlikely. However, Google is undoubtedly a misspelling of googol, whether intentional or unintentional. Does anyone have evidence of Larry Page or Sergy Brin saying anything on the matter?
