Shaina Magdayao is Metro Magazine’s May 2009 covergirl. And Shaina Magdayao comes of age in this photoshoot by posing for the first time in bikini. Shaina Magdayao dismisses this Metro Mag shoot though as just normal because it is a fashion magazine and it is summer, “people don’t wear jeans to the beach,” says Shaina. Despite the baby-faced facade, Shaina Magdayao, the child actress and her family’s youngest, is turning 20 this November. Shaina is also not spared of the harsh realities of life, her parents separated late last year and her mother, Dianne, had moved out of their house. Her sister, singer/actress Vina Morales, just sired a child unmarried.
Shaina Magdayao stars in ABS-CBN’s hit afternoon soap, “Kambal Sa Uma” and is a Coke Smile ambassador. Shaina Magdayao’s lovelife is also stable with boyfriend John Prats whom she shares wooed her formally and the old way by going to their house ‘akyat-ligaw’ style. Shaina loves to take care of her family. She manages the entire household, from paying the bills to managing their various businesses including a laundry shop and the family-owned nationwide franchise, Ystilo Salon. For all these, Shaina Magdayao is still a teenybopper at heart, she still gets dreamy about her kissing scenes with heartrobs Piolo Pascual and Jake Cuenca from her varied roles and wants to have more of the same.
