Miss Universe 2008 is Angel Locsin.. errr.. Ms. Venezuela… Again

I don’t know about you, but I don’t think the Ms. Universe beauty pageant is as popular for the Filipinos compared 10 years ago… when I was a little younger.. Or it could be just me.

Nakita ko lang sa yahoo na may nanalo na pala for the title Ms. Universe 2008, which by the way the winner is Ms. Venezuela. I said to myself, wow, tapos na pala..

Miss Venezuela was crowned Miss Universe 2008 on Monday in a contest marked by the spectacle of Miss USA falling down during the evening gown competition for the second year in a row.

An elated Dayana Mendoza received the crown from her predecessor, Riyo Mori of Japan, and then prepared to meet a gaggle of reporters. Miss Venezuela, 22, was once kidnapped in her homeland and says the experience taught her to remain poised under pressure.

There you go.. I wonder if the Venezuelan government even celebrated their winnings from Ms. Universe.. I mean, they are the winner almost every year !:)

Would Angel Locsin or Marian Rivera ever join the contest? Palagay ko hindi… Palagay ko lang ha. ..you’ll most likely see them on redtube or tube8 than Ms. Universe beauty pageant.
