Gary V on “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo”

“Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo“is the new TV series on the Kapamilya network, ABS-CBN. It is set to hit the television screens on January 18, 2010.

Singer and performer Gary Valenciano is the one who recorded the theme song for “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo”, who stars Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.

“I’m very excited about this because the show has a unique story. I have a feeling that people will really get to enjoy, not only the television series but also the theme song,” Valenciano said.

“Very exccited talaga ako. At nagpapasalamat ako sa ABS-CBN na nagtitiwala sa kakayahan ko. (I’m very excited. And I thank ABS-CBN for believing in my abilities),” he added.

(Honestly, I was happy that people [say I'm a lucky charm]. But I don’t think being a lucky charm has anything to do with it. Compared to the fact that, I mean, you can see how far Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson have come as celebrities.)

“And then you have the likes of Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez and of course Kris Aquino [on the show]. It’s a new mix of talents,” Valenciano said.

Valenciano just finished taping the music video of the show’s theme song. It will be reportedly aired soon. Currently, Valenciano is a regular on ABS-CBN’s weekly variety show “ASAP ’09.”
