francis magalona

This is the next sad news that we’re going to post here at orchidlois.com since Rudy Fernandez’ death. Francis Magalona yesterday confims his illness at Eat Bulaga and have issued a statement:

Ngayon meron akong isang pagsubok na dapat daanan at ang hiling ko lang ay ang inyong pang-unawa at suporta. I have been diagnosed with leukemia and I am preparing for my treatment,” reads Francis Magalona’s official statement a day after PEP reported his illness

Here’s what we’ve read at PEP:

Singer-songwriter Francis Magalona issued an official statement earlier today, August 14, via text message to his Eat Bulaga! family confirming the sad news that he is indeed stricken with leukemia.

Yesterday, August 13, word came out about Francis’s delicate condition and his need for blood donors.

In a phone conversation with Pupil band manager and Francis’s good friend Day Cabuhat, she told PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) that any blood type coming from donors will be accepted. Francis’s blood is Type “O”.
