I was a big fan of Dawson’s Creek when I was growing up that’s why I am familiar with the show’s lead character Dawson’s Creek.

James Van Der Beek and his wife, Heather McComb, are splitting up.
“They remain good friends,” his rep told Us. A source told the magazine that the pair has been separated for two months.
The former Dawson’s Creek hunk and McComb married in Malibu in 2003 — two months after he left the teen drama. He starred as the titular character, Dawson Leery, for six years.
Van Der Beek most recently played a movie director on One Tree Hill, while McComb appeared on Prison Break this season as Gretchen’s mild-mannered sister.
