Taped earlier but shown on May 12, 2008, Charice Pempengco appeared in Oprah and was featured on kids with extraordinary abilities. Charice blew the audience away with her performance of Whitney Houston’s song I Have Nothing. After her fantastic performance, an emotional Charice told Oprah, “I’m always dreaming that someday I can be a part of your show. I can’t believe I’m here standing with you. This is my dream come true.”

On May 10, 2008, Charice was a special performer in the Filipino hit noon time show Wowowee which held a special show in Hawaii.

On May 17, 2008, Charice was a performer in MGM Grand @ Firewoods opening with David Foster, Alicia Keys, Jamia Simone Nash, Nick Cannon, John Mayer, Josh Groban, among others..

On May 23, 2008, Charice Pempengco was once again a performer in David Foster’s One Night Tribute Concert with Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble’, and former American Idol finalists Katharine McPhee and Michael Johns, among others.
