Recently, there have been rumors that Anne Curtis’s younger sister Jasmine was supposedly seen kissing Anne Who’s That Girl co-star Luis Manzano. “I think that’s disgusting. It’s basically incest,” replied Anne at the press conference of her launch as the new face of SM Residences of SM Development Corporation last January 28. “Jasmine is 16 [years old] and Manzano (her nickname for Luis) is [ma]tanda na. So you know, it’s far from happening and especially Kuya Manzano ang tawag n’ya so kaloka ‘yung mga tao [na gumagawa ng tsismis].” Anne said that the rumor might have come from when Luis drove Jasmine home and they exchanged hugs when they said their goodbyes.

Though Anne was once romantically linked to Luis, the two remain the best of friends. Luis is currently single while the actress is now happily committed to non-showbiz boyfriend Erwann Heussaff.

Anne added that she is not worried that her closeness with Luis might affect her current romantic relationship. In his interviews, Luis always expresses his love for Anne and even calls her his soul mate. “Manzano will always be my best friend and everyone is aware of that. Anyone that comes in my life or I have a relationship [with], they know of my friendship of Manzano and they respect that.”

Anne related that Luis is in no rush to be committed even if he has been loveless for two years after his breakup with Angel Locsin. “Manzano is at the point of his life [in which] sooner or later he’s going to settle down. So now he’s kind of enjoying [his life],” explained Anne.

The Showtime host also denied rumors that Luis supposedly gave her an expensive watch as a Christmas present. “Kuripot si Luis,” she said. “Kami ni Manzano we always have a deal kung ano ang ibibigay namin sa isa’t-isa and this year, hindi pa kami nagbibigayan kasi wala pa kaming agreement kung anong ibibigay niya sa akin at ibibigay ko sa kanya.”

Meantime, Anne said that she also wishes ex-boyfriend Sam Milby well, following reports that the actor is allegedly courting radio jock Andi Manzano. Anne said that she is currently happy with her life and it will make her happy also if Sam finally gets into a relationship. “Sam and I are very much friends. There’s no bad blood between the two of us. We still get along, so walang issue. If he happens to be courting someone, I’d be happy for him.”

Kahit na si KC Concepcion ay nagulat sa pag-amin ng boyfriend na si Piolo Pascual tungkol sa kanilang relasyon sa The Buzz kahapon. Hindi raw talaga niya alam na magsasalita na ang kanyang boyfriend. “Nasanay na nga ako na hindi siya nagsasalita and I really appreciate his statements and words. It’s just easy to say something ‘yung sinabi niya ida-divert ‘yung tanong o conversation. Wala akong ine-expect at all. Thank you, PJ,” ani KC.

Speechless nga si KC nang siya naman ang tinanong ng kanyang The Buzz co-hosts hinggil sa pag-amin ng boyfriend at hindi niya naiwasan sabihin na, “Kung alam n’yo lang ang dami-dami naming pinagdaanan ni PJ. Andami naming pinagdaanan and I was really surprised that he was very honest.”

After daw ng interview ni Piolo nagyakapan daw silang magkasintahan backstage at wala nang nasabi sa isa’t isa dahil emosyunal sila pareho. “Wala kaming napag-usapan. It was very sincere. Kung sincere ‘yung tao kung totoo ‘yung sinasabi niya o pinagdadaanan. And I always said this before when PJ talks, when he likes to do something, napag-isipan na niya ‘yun. Andaming pinagdaanan ng puso niya, ng utak niya, ng katawan niya, ng spiritual life niya. Ang dami niyang pinagdadaanan to reach a certain point sa lahat ng ginagawa niya, so I’m just… thank you PJ for being honest today.”

Bukod pa rito ay lubos na pasasalamat ang ibinigay ni KC sa mga taong nagmamahal sa kanila ni Piolo. “I’d like to thank everybody sa nagmamahal sa amin ni PJ sa lahat ng suporta at supporters. He’s a really a good guy… a really, really good guy.”

Jason Abalos was finally launched as Bianong Bulag in the latest installment of Agimat: Ang Mga Alamat ni Ramon Revilla. Aside from the fact that this is his first title role, the dashing 26 year-old was also ecstatic because his show is also part of ABS-CBN’s daily afternoon block. “Ang galing nga kasi nasa Precious Hearts Romances: Alyna din ako so sabay-sabay. Actually, lahat naman ng trabaho tinatanggap ko. Pero yung magkaroon ng ganito kalaking opportunity, ang sarap sa pakiramdam. Kahit papa’no nakaka-pressure din kasi siyempre mahigpit ang competition dun sa timeslot namin.”

When asked what makes Bianong Bulag different from the previous Agimat heroes, he shared that his superpower enables him to put time in slow motion and to be a sharpshooter as well. “Sabi ni direk ito yung pinakamaraming action na ginawa sa lahat ng Agimat. So nag-aral ako ng konting martial arts tsaka may ibang physical training din para handa ako sa fight scenes. Siguro para maiba lang kasi lahat naman ng ginagawa ko drama. Dito kasi nagdrama ako dalawa or tatlong beses lang, pambata talaga para lahat ng bata maka-relate.”

Although he hasn’t personally met the original Agimat superhero, Ramon Revilla Sr., Jason was happy to say that the former seems to approve of him playing the character of Bianong Bulag. “I think hinihintay lang yung schedule na kumpleto kaming mga gaganap sa second batch (Ejay Falcon, Enchong Dee, and Jolo Revilla) ng Agimat bago kami bumisita sa bahay nila sa Cavite. Pero si Senator Bong (Revilla) lagi ko nakakasama kasi meron kaming grupo sa basketball. Magka-team kami kasama sila Tito Ipe (Philip Salvador).”

In fact, Senator Bong and Philip may have had a hand in his becoming part of the newest batch of Agimat stars. “Nakita nila kasi ako, si Tito Ipe dun sa Tiagong Akyat, yung kay Gerald (Anderson). Sabi niya, ‘Ang galing mo dun’. Sabi ko, ‘Oo, sana makakuha ako ng isa.’.Siguro si Tito Ipe pinahaging kina Senator Bong [na gusto ko magkaroon ng sariling Agimat na show]. Siguro yun, may basbas naman. Basta masaya ako dahil madami akong naa-achieve sa career ko ngayon. Ipagpatuloy ko lang kung ano yung nasimulan ko para mapakita na deserving naman ako sa mga break na binibigay sa akin.”

Melissa Ricks opened up about how she and Jake Cuenca were able to keep their relationship strong for almost two years now. Apparently, admitting to the public that they’re exclusively dating was a big step for them. “Kasi it started with friendship, matagal na friendship and it went on [to a romantic level]. We didn’t let people come in to whatever we had. We kept everything private. I didn’t know nga na sasabihin niya yun that day sa The Buzz. So natuwa din ako na sinabi niya yun so everybody will know na rin, para hindi rin kami tago ng tago. Siyempre nakaka-flatter and nakakakilig yun [to see that he’s very vocal about his feelings for me],” she began.

Melissa further shared that Jake’s family made her feel welcome when she spent Christmas with them last year. “Happy ako na sinama niya ako sa kanila. I got to meet his cousins, his family, mga tito at tita niya. It was really fun kasi usually nasa bahay lang ako ‘pag Pasko. Tapos siyempre iba yung feeling na makasama yung family niya for noche buena sila, may get-together, may parties so nag-enjoy ako and masaya ako na niyaya niya ako.”

In a previous interview with Jake, he revealed that Melissa’s close to his mom even when his parents were still in Spain. But he didn’t expect the two special women in his life to instantly click when they finally met in person. To which the young actress stated, “Sabi super close daw kami agad, hindi naman super close. Na-add ko lang siya (Jake’s mom) sa Facebook, I said hi, ganyan… And then when she came here, lagi kami nag-uusap online because she’s online also. Nasa bahay siya and ako lagi din ako nasa bahay so dun kami naging close. Sobrang bait ng mom ni Jake.”

Melissa also revealed that one of the things that she loves about Jake is that he really makes an effort to make her feel special. When asked about the most romantic gesture he ever did for her, she readily shared that it would have to be their candlelit dinner under the stars during her 20th birthday. “I was in Hawaii so we didn’t get to spend Christmas of ’09 and New Year. So when I got back, biglang dinala niya ako sa rooftop. Tapos lahat sila kakuntsaba niya—yung sister-in-law niya, yung brother niya, tsaka friend niya. Dinala ako sa rooftop tapos pagbukas ng door may mga fireworks, tapos may naka-prepare na dinner for the two of us. Kahit takot ako sa fireworks, tapos medyo nagka-malfunction sa fireworks, sobrang nakita ko yung effort niya nung birthday ko na yun.”

They’re also becoming known as one of the celebrity couples who give expensive gifts to each other. Melissa’s Christmas gift to Jake was a pair of Christian Dior shoes and a T.W. Steel Watch; while Jake gave her a pair of diamond earrings for Christmas and a diamond-studded watch for her birthday. “Hindi, kahit naman siguro normal na tao ‘di ba? You want to make someone happy and you feel happy when you give them something. So nagkataon lang na medyo costly yung mga gifts pero it’s the meaning naman e. It’s the effort that you put into it.”

At the end of the day, what really matters is that they both inspire each other to become better people. “Natutuwa nga ako dahil naging simple ulit siya kahit sa pananamit. Like yung white shirt, sabi ko sa kanya, ‘Mas bagay sa ’yo ‘yan, mas nakikita kagwapuhan mo.’ Ako naman, pinakagusto ko yung outlook niya towards his career, he’s very hardworking and very confident, yun ang tinuturo niya sa akin. Sabi niya, ‘Kailangan you have to stand up for yourself. Kailangan may stand ka sa lahat ng bagay.’ Tinutulungan niya ako sa aspect na yun. Siguro yun ang maganda sa aming dalawa, we take each other’s advice and we learn a lot from each other in the process,” she beamed.

Pinag-usapan ng lahat ang kontrobersiyang kinasasangkutan ni Baron Geisler na nangyari sa set ng Noah kamakailan. Nagbigay na sina Baron at Cherry Pie ng kanilang mga pahayag tungkol sa isyu. Maging ang kanilang mga managers na sina Arrnold Vegafria at Ed Instrella ay ibinahagi na rin ang kanilang mga saloobin. May ginawa na ring aksyon ang PAMI o ang samahan ng mga talent managers hinggil sa isyu.

Isa si Piolo Pascual sa mga lead stars ng Noah at nagbigay na rin siya ng reaksyon para sa kasamahang sina Baron at Cherry Pie. “We feel for everyone not just for Miss Pie but also for Baron. Madali namang mag-apologize eh, that’s the first step. Marami namang nagmamahal kay Baron eh, kapatid ko ‘yan, pero siyempre ang gusto naman ng lahat yung consistency lang. Trabaho lang ang hanap natin ‘di ba, respeto para sa lahat,” seryosong pahayag ni Piolo.

Nagsalita na rin ang mga kapatid ni Baron tungkol sa kontrobersiyang kinakaharap nito, partikular na ang pambabastos nito sa mga babae sa tuwing ito ay nalalasing. “Sorry, alam ko walang ugaling ganoon ang kapatid ko,” maikling pahayag ng ate ni Baron na si Grace.

“Siguro ay naging ganito lang naman siya when he entered into showbiz, that all confusions came in his life,” sagot naman ng kanyang Kuya na si Donnie, na kasama rin ni Baron na pumasok sa Pinoy Big Brother house noong pangalawang Celebrity Edition nito.

Controversial actor Baron Geisler finally spoke up about the new accusations of harassment by his Noah co-star Cherry Pie Picache at the hearing of the Acts of Lasciviousness case filed against him by another actress, Yasmien Kurdi. “Well yung character ko po ay isang unggoy na mahilig magwala, yun lang po ang ginawa ko, in character lang po. May kasama kaming mga ghoulies, so anong gagawin kapag inaabduct ang isang tao, ‘di ba sinasakal…” Baron commented to TV Patrol reporter Mario Dumawal at the Bocaue, Bulacan Regional Trial Court.

Baron even challenged the production staff of Noah to show the footage of him harassing the actress on the set. He said that he respects Cherry Pie very much and would not do any rude acts towards her. “Parang nanay ko na po ‘yan, ‘yung mga kasamahan ko sa taping, sa trabaho, ‘di ko po binibigyan ng malisya at ‘di ko po pagnanasaan po ‘yan, kilala ko po ang anak niya at para sa akin ho ay kagalang-galang naman siya na babae.”

The actor gave a not guilty plea to two counts of Acts of Lasciviousness and two counts of Unjust Vexation filed by Yasmien last May 2010. The actress reportedly cried foul when Baron talked dirty to her and embraced her without her consent during a taping for a TV show. Baron stated that he is not going to apologize to Yasmien for he did nothing wrong towards her. “Of course not, specially if I know I’m on the right…na nasa tamang side po ako.” His camp is ready to file a petition at the Malolos RTC to halt the hearing of Yasmien’s case.

Baron emphasized that he is not the person his co-workers are painting him out to be. “Sawang-sawa na rin po ako sa mga balitang walang katotohanan, parati na lang po akong inaapi. Ayaw nila ako bigyan ng pagkakataon na magbago. Doon po ako nasasaktan ng sobra-sobra kasi po ako mahal ko ang karera ko, mahal ko ang mga katrabaho ko, so wala po sa akin ang mambastos ng katrabaho ko sa set.”

At the October 12 presscon for their upcoming movie Till My Heartaches End, both Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu could not contain their emotions when it came to answering questions about their personal life. Gerald is rumored to already be dating Bea Alonzo while Kim is supposedly being courted by Jason Abalos and Enchong Dee. This sparked rumors that the movie might turn out to be their last project together as a love team.

During the presscon, when asked if he had ever asked Kim how much she loved him (just like what he does in one of their most dramatic scenes from their movie), Gerald broke down and suddenly apologized to a surprised Kim for doing most of the hurting in what they called their “special relationship.” A visibly upset Gerald then walked off backstage after answering one of the questions and was not able to participate in the rest of the press con due to hyperventilation. Kim was then asked by the press to give her reaction to Gerald’s impromptu public apology and confession to her. The pretty chinita, who was trying hard to keep her voice steady, implored fans to be more forgiving of Gerald. The actor earlier admitted that ever since he got linked to Bea, he and his family had been receiving hate mail from diehard fans of their Kimerald love team. “Gusto ko sabihin sa lahat ng tao na, na sana maging okay ang lahat. Ayoko na may naririnig ako na papatayin si Bea, tatapunan ng asido, papatayin si Gerald. Ayoko yung ganun eh. Tanggapin na lang natin kung ano man yung nangyari. And sana maging masaya tayo para sa kung ano man ang nangyari na yun. Sana tanggapin nila, maintindihan nila na may personal din kami na buhay,” she said.

As she tried to wipe away her tears, Kim tried her best to explain to their fans that she is also very honored and thankful for the support they have been giving her through this difficult time in her life. “Yung mga fans, alam kong nasasaktan sila para sa akin and nahahati nga sila. Yun nga yung kinakalungkot ni Gerald ngayon na bakit nahahati sila ng dahil sa kanya. Hindi ko sila masisisi kung ganun yung opinion nila. Parang, siyempre nagpapasalamat ako dahil naka-suporta sila sa akin and inaalalayan nila ako sa bawat pinagdadaanan ko at pinagdadaanan namin,” she shared. Kim’s voice kept cracking but she still maintained her composure by telling her fans that at this point, all she wants is for things to just smooth over and that all she wants is for everyone to just accept and understand the changes that are happening between her and Gerald. “Heto lang ang gusto ko, sana balang araw maging okay ulit. Bumalik ulit yung dati. And tama na yung gulo. Tama na yung hindi pagkakaintindihan, lalo na kung hindi na maganda. And salamat dahil nandiyan sila para sa akin para alalayan ako. Eto lang ang gusto kong sabihin, salamat and sana maging okay ang lahat. And sabi ko nga sa The Buzz, yung mga taong nagsasabi ng masama tungkol kay Gerald, minsan ako yung nasasaktan para sa kanya. Kaso tao rin lang naman siya na nagkakamali. Sana intindihin na lang namin yun. Tanggapin natin kung ano yun,” she said.

During the press con of Till My Heartaches End, Gerald Anderson broke down in tears as he unexpectedly revealed how much he had hurt Kim Chiu because of his much-speculated romance with Bea Alonzo. It seems that the whole controversy proved to be too much for the young actor as he was merely asked by a member of the press if Kim had also confessed the depth of her love to him the way she did in the movie. To which he seriously replied, “Kung tinanong ko na si Kim na mahal niya ako? Alam mo kasi, yun nga, sinabi ko sa inyo sa TV na sa loob ng four years [na nagkatrabaho kami], opo, nagkaroon po kami ng special relationship. And we shared very happy moments together, we cared for each other. At the same time siyempre we hurt each other. Mas madalas mas ako.”

At that point, Gerald could no longer keep his emotions in check as he further shared that Kim still let him in on her life despite all the heartaches that he has given her. But he claimed that he never meant to hurt her the way he did this time. “Ayun nga po yung masakit dun dahil ang dami kong binigay sa kanya na problema, heartaches…pero tinanggap pa rin niya ako.” What’s sadder than that though is that he knew that he could never match the level of devotion that Kim has bestowed upon him. “Masakit din kasi alam ko kahit kailan, kahit anong gawin ko, hindi ko pa rin mapapantayan yung lahat ng ginawa niya para sa akin, yung pagtanggap sa akin. Hindi ko sinadya na…yun po ang ayaw ko sa lahat yung makasakit ako ng ibang tao.”

Gerald also admitted that he was deeply hurt when Kimerald fans refused to support him because of his supposed involvement with Bea and its impact to his team-up/relationship with Kim. “Magiging sinungaling din po ako kung sasabihin ko sa inyo na hindi ako nasaktan nung may mga fans na bumack out dahil ayaw nila ako suportahan, lalo na yung mga naging ka-close ko. Marami ho akong natanggap na hate mails kahit sa bahay ko, yung mga mahal ko sa buhay nadadamay.”

The death threats from violent fans were the last straw because Gerald couldn’t just sit and watch his family get caught in the middle of a life-threatening situation. “Pati yung nanay ko nabibigla sa lahat ng nangyayari sa akin dahil siyemrpe anak ako. Kahit paulit-ulit akong nage-explain sa kanya na kasama talaga ito sa trabaho namin. Kasi kung ako lang kaya ko tiisin ito e. Kaya kong tanggapin lahat ng may ayaw sa akin. Pero iba na ‘pag nadadamay yung pamilya ko. Kumbaga may tumawag sa kanya nung isang araw at sinabi sa kanya na papatayin niya yung anak niya. Siyempre medyo iba na yun ‘di ba. ‘Yan hindi na talaga kasama sa trabaho namin ‘yan.”

Gerald tried to understand where these haters are coming from by recounting his heroic deeds during Typhoon Ondoy last year. According to the young actor, some of his supporters placed him on a pedestal since then to the point that they’ve forgotten that he’s only human after all. “Mula nung Ondoy mataas po ang tingin sa akin ng mga tao. Naging hero ako bigla. Pero ginawa ko yun dahil gusto ko. Hindi ko alam na nakukunan na pala ng camera. Mula ng araw na yun naging hero ako, naging perfect ako sa mata ng tao, kaya siguro nakalimutan nila na tao din ako, nagkakamali din ako. Pero yun, hindi ako perperktong tao, I try my best to be my best. I try my best para maging inspirasyon sa ibang tao at para maging isang role model. Pero mahirap din,” he stated before excusing himself from the press con. When he didn’t return to finish the press con, it was later announced that Gerald suffered from hyperventilation and was being attended by paramedics backstage.

A lot of Kapamilya artists bagged most of the major awards during the Philippine Movie Press Club’s (PMPC) second Star Awards for Music held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater last October 10. Spotted during the event were Piolo Pascual, KC Concepcion, Sarah Geronimo, Jericho Rosales, Christian Bautista, Erik Santos, and Yeng Constantino among others.

Some of the winners of the major categories also expressed their gratitude to the PMPC for recognizing the talent of local artists and for inspiring them to keep on creating beautiful music for the Filipinos.

Sarah Geronimo – Female Recording Artist of The Year for her album Music & Me under Viva Records
“Talagang napaka-generous sa akin ni Lord, talagang overflowing ang kanyang blessings magmula ng nanalo ako sa Star of The Night. I’d like to take this opportunity na magpasalamat sa mga bumoto sa akin noon. Bahagi po kayo sa pagtupad ng aking pangarap. “I am very happy na napiling song of the year ang ‘Pusong Ligaw,’ it’s the first single in my album, Change. It’s the only original song in this revival album. Ang ‘Pusong Ligaw’ ay isang kanta na sinulat ko para sa teleseryeng Dahil May Isang Ikaw pero na-reject, pero napili siyang carrier single for Change. I’m just very happy na nabigyan ako ng ganitong recognition because this is actually my first major award in music. This award only means one thing. Siguro po tama ang desisyon ko na mag-quit dati sa showbiz at magpursige sa music. So thank you PMPC, Star Records, my ABS-CBN family and sa lahat ng inspirasyon ko sa pagsulat ng kanta.”

“Of course nagpapasalamat ako sa producer ko na si Jonathan Manalo at sa lahat ng tumulong para makapaglabas kami ng isang magandang album, sa Star Records, sa aking mga engineers na nag-ayos ng songs. Pinasasalamatan ko din si Raymund Isaac for the album cover, sine-share ko po itong award na ito sa inyo. I am really excited because I am coming up with Decades 2, songs from the ‘80s, ‘90s and 2000s. It’s a follow-up for my Decades album so maraming salamat po sa inspirasyon.”

Masayang Judy Ann Santos ang bumati sa The Buzz kahapon sa pamamagitan ng isang phone patch upang ipaalam na nasa mabuting kalagayan na siya at ang kanyang bagong silang na anak na si Baby Lucho sa isang ospital sa Muntinlupa. “(We’re) doing good, under observation kami ngayon,” simula ni Judai nang kamustahin siya ni Boy Abunda. “We’re still in the hospital. Ako recovering, nakakalakad-lakad na. So far si Lucho kasi kailangan i-observe pa for some tests kaya standby muna kami dito sa ospital.” Ilang araw pa raw silang mananatili sa ospital dahil hindi pa sila pinapalabas ng kanilang doctor.

Itinanong ni Boy sa Teleserye Queen kung ano ang unang naramdaman nila ng asawang si Ryan Agoncillo nang unang masilayan ang kanilang anak. “Amazing ‘yung pakiramdam kasi all the time para lang kaming lasing ni Ryan, tawa lang kami nang tawa sa delivery room. Tapos supposedly we’re going for the Lamaze method (pero) nung 3cm na ako, hindi ko na kaya, nagmakaawa na ako, ang sakit-sakit na kasi, eh.” Pero nilinaw ni Judai na inenjoy talaga niya ang pangyayaring ito sa kanyang buhay mula sa sakit hanggang sa saya. “Gusto ko lang maramdaman ‘yung labor pain kasi sayang ‘yung moment kung hindi ko nanamnamin ‘yung proseso ng kabuuan, so niramdam ko muna. Nung kumota na ako sa sakit humingi na talaga ako ng epidural hindi ko na talaga kaya.”

Ani Judai, malaking tulong daw si Ryan dahil nag-effort talaga ang actor-host upang maging komportable siya habang nanganganak. “Relax lang kami pero si Ryan ninerbyos lang nang konti. Dinadaan niya lang sa pagpapatawa na nakatulong nang malaki sa akin kasi kung hindi niya ako pinapatawa at inasar-aasar, malamang minura ko na siya sa sakit. In fairness naman talaga sa asawa ko sobra niyang supportive sa akin. Siya din ang nag-cut ng (umbilical) cord kasi, eh.”

Ngayon daw ay nagbi-breast-feed si Judai at ikinuwentong hindi sila nahirapan ni Lucho. Humingi naman ng paumanhin si Judai dahil matatagalan daw muna bago niya ilalabas ang picture ni Lucho sa publiko. “Maybe in a month’s time or maybe before Christmas. Nanamnamin muna namin ‘yung itsura niya na kami-kami mismo para masaya naman. Pasensiya na po ipagdadamot ko muna ang anak ko for the meantime,” sambit niya.

Lahat ng mga isyung kinasasangkutan ni Kim Chiu ay sinagot niya kahapon sa interview ng The Buzz, kabilang na ang isyu na nag-break na sila ni Gerald Anderson, ang isyu sa kanila ni Bea Alonzo at ang diumano’y pagtatangka niyang magpakamatay.

Mas matibay na raw ngayon ang former Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Big Winner dahil sa mga pinagdaanan niyang pagsubok sa buhay. “Sa mga pinagdadaanan ngayon at mga taong nakapalibot sa akin, siguro marami din akong natutunan doon and living alone dito sa Manila, walang family, walang kapatid, na ako lang, andaming nangyari, andaming natutunan sa buhay ko,” paliwanag niya.

Natatawa naman angaktres nang ungkatin ang isyung nililigawan daw siya nina Enchong Dee at Jason Abalos. Aniya, close lang talaga sila ni Enchong lalo na nang gawin nila ang teleseryeng My Girl at hindi raw niya ma-confirm kung nililigawan daw ba siya ni Jason dahil ayaw naman niyang mag-assume.

Nilinaw rin ni Kim na hindi naman kay Gerald umikot ang mundo niya sa tatlong taon nilang pagiging close at magka-love team. “Siyempre meron namang pamilya, trabaho, meron din namang iba,” ani Kim.

Hindi rin daw niya masisisi si Gerald kung madalas itong ma-link sa mga artistang babae. “Magandang lalaki si Gerald, aminin naman natin ‘yon, mabait pa, gentleman. Lahat naman siguro magkakagusto sa kanya kaya hindi imposible na may ma-link sa kanya.”

Consistent naman ang aktres sa pagsasabing okay sila ni Bea na nali-link ngayon kay Gerald at nagbabatian naman daw sila sa ASAP XV (kung saan sila ay mainstays), pero magkaiba ang kanilang sets of friends.

Hindi rin itinanggi ni Kim na nasaktan siya sa mga isyung may namumuong magandang pagtitinginan sina Gerald at Bea. “Hindi naman ako robot na walang pakiramdam. Aminin naman natin opo (nasaktan ako).” Gayunpaman ayaw niyang magbigay ng detalye sa isyung ito. Ipinagtanggol din ni Kim si Gerald dahil umaani ito ng batikos dahil diumano’y nasaktan si Kim nang dahil sa kanya. “Ayokong isipin ng mga tao na masama siyang tao kasi hindi talaga,” depensa ni Kim sa kanyang leading man. “Lahat ng mga haters niya parang ako ang nasasaktan para sa kanya.” Ngayon nga raw ay mas magaan ang treatment nila ni Gerald sa isa’t isa at marami silang napag-uusapan.

Matapang namang nagbigay ng pahayag ang aktres sa isyung diumano’y nagtangka siyang mag-suicide. “Alam mo kalokohan and katangahan para sa akin kung gawin ko ‘yon. Sino’ng mag-aalaga sa mga kapatid ko, sinong bubuhay sa kanila, pinapagawa ko ‘yung dream house ko. Lahat ng tao dumadaan sa malungkot na proseso pero dahan-dahan nagiging okay naman ang lahat.”

Samantala, muling magtatambal sina Kim at Gerald sa isang pelikulang handog ng Star Cinema, ang Till My Heartaches End na ipapalabas na sa Oktubre 27.

Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu were visibly excited about the upcoming release of their newest movie Till My Heartaches End on October 27. “Every day kami nagsho-shooting eh. So pareho kaming buhos na buhos sa pagtrabaho sa movie. Kakaiba kasi yung roles namin kaya kahit kami naninibago,” Gerald said. Gerald admitted that after doing Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, he and Kim were more than ready to dive into a new project. “After nung last soap, yung last acting job namin, medyo matagal yung pagitan so medyo nakapagpahinga kami and now we’re ready to work,” he added. The movie, which is directed by Joey Reyes, tells the story of Paolo and Agnes, two love-struck individuals who realize that growing up can mean having to choose between following their heart or pursuing their life goals. In this movie, Gerald and Kim play their most mature movie role to date. The young couple put to rest any rumors regarding their rocky relationship when they arrived together at the StarStudio Celebrity Style awards held last October 3 in Makati city.

Gerald said he is confident that his love team with Kim will still be supported by their fans even after they may be paired up with other people and after rumors that he was now seeing Bea Alonzo. “Yung sa amin ni Kim, impossible na hindi kami magkakaroon ng project na magkasama ulit, kumbaga hindi naman namin masasabi kung last project na namin ito dahil hindi kami yung management. Artista lang po kami. We’re just doing our job,” he said.

Even Kim, who was rumored to have been so affected by the Gerald-Bea pairing that she slit her wrist, was also adamant about putting the issue to rest. “Sana po maging okay na ang lahat. Sana huwag na natin isipin na kung ano man yung naging problema. Basta ginagawa namin yung movie para sa kanila and sana suportahan pa rin nila kami,” she said.

Showtime host and resident judge Vice Ganda admitted that he was disappointed when the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chairman Consoliza La Guardia announced that they will bring their case against Showtime to the Supreme Court after it was dismissed by the Court of Appeals. Vice believes that he and his co-hosts are doing their best to adhere to the MTRCB’s demands and Showtime deserves the respect back. “Sobrang tagal na nito ewan ko kung bakit naungkat na naman, ayaw talaga nila kami tantanan. Since inapila na at napawalang bisa yung pinataw na kaparusahan, ngayon nagaapila pa rin siya. Gusto ba nila talaga mawala ang Showtime? Yun ang gusto ko malaman sa mga bibig nila. Bakit inaapila niyo pa uli e sinabi na ngang walang bisa.”

In MTRCB Chairman La Guardia’s interview in another network, she expressed that they will zero in on more Vice’s hosting as the latter supposedly says remarks with double meanings. “Siya nagbigayng meaning sa sinasabi ko so siya dapat ang mag-explain kung ano yung mga inisip niyang marurumi tungkol sa sinabi ko, siya ang nag-isip siya ang may problema, siya ang mag-explain. Unfair yun. Kung mino-monitor, okay lang, trabaho nila ang mag-monitor. Yung tutok at sini-single out ang programa namin, unfair yun. Paano yung responsibilidad at obligasyon nila para sa ibang mga programa? Napapabayaan ba nila yun dahil nakatutok sila sa amin? ‘Di ba dapat pantay-pantay ang mata para sa lahat?”

He does not bear any hard feelings though. He knows that everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion as long as it does not go overboard. “Hindi ako napipikon, malaya ang lahat ng tao na magbigay ng komento tungkol sa akin at malaya rin naman akong magbalik ng opinyon kung ano yung narinig ko. May kalayaan sa Pilipinas, okay lang yan.” Having said that, he also admits that he is not looking forward to any face-to-face talk with Chairman La Guardia. “Madami akong ginagawa iintindihin ko pa ba siya? Mas maraming makabuluhang bagay na pwedeng kong gawin kaysa sa kanya. Madami akong taong napapasaya, e. Bakit ko pagtutuunan ng atensyon yung isang taong hindi naman ako napapasaya at hindi ko rin napapasaya?”

When asked if he believes in the MTRCB’s principles, he said, ‘Honestly, hindi. Kahit walang MTRCB gagawa pa rin ako ng tama, alam ko ang mga obligasyon ko bilang nag-iisip na tao sa mga taong nakikita at nakakarinig ng mga sinasabi ko. Isang reason kung bakit hindi ako naniniwala sa institution, kasi naniniwala ako na ang tao naman hindi na kinakailangan na utusan kung ano dapat mo gawin, hindi mo na dapat alamin kung anong mga batas, dapat ikaw mismo bilang tao alam mo kung ano obligasyon mo bilang tao sa lipunang ginagalawan mo, sa Diyos na Panginoon mo, at sa sarili mo.”

Nevertheless, Vice said he is not afraid of how MTRCB might react after the interview as he will always stay true to himself and will always fight for he believes is right. “Sabihin ko ito at hindi pinagiinitan pa rin ako, wala pa akong opinyon nakatutok na sila. E ‘di sasabihin ko na yung gusto ko sabihin, mas hindi ako makakatulog sa gabi, mas hindi ako makakahinga kapag hindi ko nasabi ang gusto ko sabihin.”

According to Vice, he has always been careful to what he will say on of off cam. “Hindi lang ngayon, ever since maingat ako. Mahal ko yung programa, mahal ko yung trabaho ko, mahal ko yung mga nanonood sa amin. Ayoko na mapahamak yung programa, ayoko na mapahamak ako at ayokong mawala sa programa na iyon at hindi na kami magkita kita dahil sa kapabayaan ko.”

Matteo Guidicelli rendered two songs at the Belo Medical Group press conference for Kris Aquino held at the Red Restaurant in Makati Shangri-la last September 29. After his performance, Kris complimented the young actor and then revealed that Matteo is courting an ABS-CBN talent. “Si Matteo, ang galing na kumanta ang galing pang manligaw.” The story behind this was that Kris noticed the girl’s Facebook status in her BlackBerry Messaging referring to a box of Nagaraya crackers she received from Matteo. “Sorry, Matteo it was just an interesting na story because I just had to ask her,” Kris commented. When Kris asked the girl about it, she answered, ‘Kasi, di ba, tita, nakaka-in love?’ Kris chose not to divulge who the girl is and only left a clue that the girl is a Star Magic talent.

ABS-CBN.com quickly approached Matteo to ask him if it was Maja Salvador whom he gave one box (as big as a balikbayan box) of Nagaraya. We noticed how he blushed and tried to avoid the question. After much prodding, Matteo then admitted that he did give Maja a present. “Opo, si Maja po yung binigyan ko. Kasi paborito niya po yun Nagaraya. Sa isang taping namin ng Wansapanatym Inday sa Balitaw nakita ko siya kumakain nun and sabi niya paborito niya. Bilang thank you po yun sa lahat sa taping namin and mabait siya and supportive siya sa akin.” Matteo shared that he personally bought the crackers from the grocery and had it delivered to Maja’s house.

Because of this, we asked him what the real score is between them. He said that he got to know Maja better when they taped for Inday sa Balitaw and he appreciates her sweet personality, but he neither admitted nor denied that he is courting her. “Magkaibigan lang po kami. We go out pero hindi lang kami dalawa, marami kaming kasama. Before pa, I always thought Maja was beautiful, pretty and everything and when I worked with her sa Inday sa Balitaw, grabe ibang klaseng babae siya. She is so talented, she is so sweet, sobrang sweet. Maja is very beautiful.”

While he kept from giving details regarding him and Maja, he just shared the qualities he is looking for a girl. “Sana I can find the girl na supportive, somebody that will help me and somebody who will always be there for me. Sana it will happen. Basta as long as the person likes what I like and is always there for me and will tell me, ‘Matteo, pangit yan, maganda yan,’ ganun.”

After winning the award for Most Stylish Comedienne during the StarStudio Celebrity Style Awards held at the Grand Ballroom of the Dusit Thani hotel in Makati last October 3, Toni Gonzaga admitted to the media that she is more than happy to move on from the intrigues regarding her and Mariel Rodriguez. “Okay na lang na tapos na. Tapos na lahat ng issue so we’re all moving on, we’re all happy for her dun sa bagong estado ng buhay niya ngayon. So let’s focus on the positivity, no more negativity,” she said.

Although one can only speculate what exactly triggered the gap between the two former Pinoy Big Brother hosts, Toni has made it known how disappointed she is with Mariel and how this has affected their friendship. Another celebrity that supposedly also has an issue with Mariel is Toni’s The Buzz co-host KC Concepcion. Because of this, the two have reportedly gotten closer, but deny any plans of ganging up on the former Wowowee host. “Walang kampihan na nangyayari. Wala talaga. It just so happened na pareho yung sitwasyon, pareho yung pinagdaanan. But definitely wala yung kampihan. Hindi naman po kami mga high school o elementary para magkampi-kampihan. We’re very mature and we’re adults already. There’s no need for that,” she said. In previous interviews, both ladies have also expressed that unless Mariel admits to saying the things they’ve been hearing her say about them, it is not going to change anything. Mariel has explicitly denied these accusations.

Toni also says that this experience has somewhat helped her get to know and like KC even more. “Alam mo, masarap kausap si KC kasi totoong tao, hindi siya yung tipo ng tao na magsasalita ng masama against other people and one thing that I really admire about her, even though there are times sa industriya natin hindi natin maiwasan na madaming tao na magsasalita sa atin ng hindi maganda, pero KC, she always looks at the positive side of things and I admire her honesty, her truthfulness in every word that she says and whatever it is that comes from her heart,” Toni said. The actress/singer/host, who was escorted by her boyfriend director Paul Soriano to the StarStudio Celebrity Style Awards, said she has many reasons to be happy right now, one of it being the success of her show, Kokey @ Ako. “Siyempre masayang-masaya kaming lahat kasi ang saya ng trabaho namin. Ang gaan ng mood sa set so exciting para sa aming lahat yun na maganda yung pagtanggap nila dahil pinaghirapan at talagang nagpagod kami dito,” she added.
