Francine Prieto

Francine Prieto

Francine Prieto‘s exclusive contract with network giant, GMA-7 has expired and apparently was not renewed by GMA management.

The sexy actress has no show on the Kapuso network nowadays. Her last appearance was on “Darna” as Babaeng Tuod.

In a text message sent to friends, she said: “Hi po. Francine here. Wala na po ako exclusive network contract with GMA kaya free na po ako mag-guesting sa iba. Tapos na rin po ako sa Darna and I left Bubble Gang na rin po due to personal issues. Kung may guestings, project or raket, you may contact Ricky Gallardo. Kung may problem, you may text me. Have a great day!”

Francine rose to fame when she disrobed for a couple of men’s magazine but she actually started in the biz as Ana Marie Falcon in Kuya Germ’s famed teen show, “That’s Entertainment.”

Francine got her second wind when she reinvented herself and appeared in a few sexy films. She then went on to appear in comedy films including “Bikini Open.”

Hayden Kho Hospitalized

Embattled cosmetic doctor Hayden Kho Jr. was rushed to a local hospital Friday morning due to flu-like symptoms, his family confirmed.

A statement from the Kho family said the celebrity doctor was “running a very high fever and was throwing up with severe abdominal pains.”

“Initial impression is that he is suffering from intestinal flu, although stress-induced gastric ulcer is also being considered,” Kho’s family said.

Kho was admitted under the care of his father, Dr. Hayden Kho. The family requested for privacy and said Kho is not receiving visitors at this time.

Earlier reports said Kho allegedly tried to commit suicide and was involved in a car accident in Tagaytay. This came after the Professional Regulation Commission ordered his license revoked after a series of sex videos of Kho with various women leaked on the Internet.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has declared martial law in Maguindanao, a senior Malacañang official announced Saturday.

The declaration, contained in Proclamation 1959, also suspended the writ of habeas corpus in the province, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita told an early Palace briefing.

Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said the President took the “bold step” in answer to the cries of the more than 50 victims of the massacre in Maguindanao last November 23.

The Ampatuans, a powerful clan in the province, have been tagged as suspects in the killings and the crackdown on members of the family began with the arrest of Datu Unsay Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., days after what has been considered as the worst election-related violence in the country.
